Supercell ID is less safe than Google Play, since you can't add 2 step authentication to it. I don't know/care about iOS. Yes, people that can acess your village can steal your progress, which would make creating an ID for people not using 2 factor authentication a good idea, since people that hack your account could "clean it up", i.e. -2. true.
The only documented way around this is to factory reset your device, start over with a new apple ID, reinstall clash, link your working village, then log your device back into your original apple id. Better make sure your junk is all backed up first before doing all that.
